Every station on the record

Work on the FURX floor is logged at shop-floor kiosks. This page walks through the kiosk routine exactly as the poster on the wall describes it.

01 —The routine

Four steps at the station

Click through the routine below. Each action writes a line to the log, the way the station records it on the floor. Nothing here is live: it is a drawing of the routine, with a placeholder job code and made-up times.

No camera is used and no data is sent. Times and the job code are placeholders.

The four steps on the poster

  1. Look at the camera (بُصّ للكاميرا)
  2. Scan the code (امسح الكود)
  3. Start work (ابدأ الشغل)
  4. Done (خلصت)

Status buttons: Paused, Continue, No work — and a separate button to report a defect.

Two lines close the poster: use your own account only, and if you don't know, ask the supervisor.

02 —For a buyer

What a kiosk log gives a buyer

Each job has a start and a finish, logged at the station against a job code. Pauses are recorded where they happen, and so is a job that is waiting for work.

Defects are reported at the station, by the person who found them, at the moment they are found — not reconstructed afterwards.

In plain terms: the work behind an order is written down as it is done, step by step, by the people doing it.

03 —On the floor
